Sweater weather. We’re here, it’s happening, I’m so up for this I cannot tell you.
So it was time this Gestuz knit took her maiden voyage.
We’ve been eyeing each other up for a while. I’ve been up to my eyes in ‘meetings’ and press-days, plus a daily commute I’ve nicknamed the high-heel handicap. But if you asked me to pick out an autumn uniform…
This is it.
The blazer yep Gestuz I’ve been wearing a lot – super smart dare I say ‘girl-boss’, but a boxy structure stuffed with fluff kind of dictates the waist down. So I teamed her up with the other omnipresent in my life grey denim skinnies to balance bulk and if I’m honest these are my second skin.
Also…
I’m fooling around with strappy sandals before the winter pitches up. These lace-ups are the closest colour match to the skinnies I could find – the ultimate leg lengthener. And though it’s never been cooler to rip/slash/torture denim, I’m just too scared to put a scissor to em – so I rolled.
But back to new-knit. And me nailing layering: AKA avoiding bulk but adding interest…
This Gestuz again mohair-roll neck is deceptive. She’s sleeveless. Genius really. I swear a sleeveless sweater’s a gift from the silhouette gods, so much easier to pair up with a jacket this way.
High five to AW15. Happy weekend.
