SPOILER ALERT: It’s not those epic OTK’s – though course I’ll give em airtime for merely existing.
Nope, I’m talking about the slick of crimson I’ve commissioned to enhance my face – personality too.
A loaded gun if you will, specifically a blue-toned tonic for my schizophrenic skin, and though I’m usually tight-lipped about my beauty arsenal, I think this one needs to be shared.
Red lipstick lovers should unite.
Appropriate to mention then that I’ve a ridiculous amount of red lipsticks. Yeah the blue-tones suit me best but I don’t discriminate – crazy price, creamy texture, copious packaging – all are welcome to hibernate in my peekaboo.
Currently: Just a deep-pigment smudge of MAC Lady Danger or Russian Red see me through the week. Neither need much touching up nor rarely migrate to my teeth. The weekend I go subtle and pucker up in a semi-sheer shade by WANDER BEAUTY – Love Lock Parisian Red. Bit of a new one this, a sort of hybrid lip gel but with the stamina of a lip-stick.
So my point is this, I’m a self-proclaimed red lippy authority.
Through the sun-kissed times …through the sun-what-sun times here are the best.
