Pepperings of 2015 resort collections are gathering a rollicking pace on my pinterest feed.
And as such, in my perfectly pinned, ideal luxe-resort world, I’m head to toe Rachel Comey for this year and the next.
Relaxed, super wearable, luxe layers, much too cool for school… her resort collection is a belter.

She’s a New Yorker, with an established label (launched 2001) and a reassuring measure of my luxe nemesis.. Normcore – I know #luxeissues. With no mention of predictable NYC dress-me-down chic, it’s safe to say her silhouetttes – all be it a little androgynous no problem with that – are accessible, feminine and residing in club unconventional. It’s clever.
Notably on the luxe wish list are her culottes, shirt dresses, preppy pleats and occasional pin stripes. All that good stuff I go on about ALL the time. There’s also talk of more high-waisted, wide-legged denims expected to appear – experimental washes promised/tailored to perfection. Yes please!! And all with a creatively Comey twist .. A luxe oasis.
