{outfit} l u x e neutral

Thrown together in a fit of iron-f***ed rage, this ‘look’ happened unofficially by chance.

Bit of a boring story involving me in a closet full of nothing-to-wear, some stomping feet and Mr. Luxe begging the local garage for a fuse.

It was Sunday.

We were in a rush.

And my favourite shirt/dress was more screwed up than Britney sans K-Fed. So I wore the only non-crease pairing I could find …took one for the team.

As it happens I’m glad I did cos floaty finds like this top and elasticated waistbands like this skirt are shaping up to be my A/W14 BFF.. comfy.com

.

Course officially, it’s all about that new-season-neutral jazz I’ve been avoiding.

Justified by some obsessive compulsive fake-tanning and admittedly, clumsiness around ketchup. I’ve toyed – light top/nude sweater/greige bag – but full throttle nude is now on the luxe radar.

.

Red wine… jog on!

I’m now online stalking skin-toned tackle and nude-hue handbags.

Head to toe neutral?

I’ll have a skinful.

  • Love the combination of floaty top and the volume in the skirt. Serious ‘YES’ from me! Those shoes stop it from being too ‘beige’. Sometimes the unplanned outfits are just as good as the precisely thought out ones. Plus is helps you have an amazing wardrobe… xxx
