And dream boat Draper was so so right. Simplicity is key. Which is why my 2 hour tumble into wonderland was worth every second. Securing me some quite remarkable dare-I-say-unexpected classics.
I’m a self proclaimed shirt stealer – usually his, always when he’s not looking – so this billowy number was a long overdue procurement.
The midi – a sort of curve-engineered masterpiece – is kind of a no-brainer. Skirts are this seasons big news – leather, pleather and suede if you’re cool enough – midi was mandatory. I promise you this pleather YES folks midi is pleather, will most definitely be ankle flashing me through spring and summer.
And with sartorial ingredients such as this, I made sure to season with a predictable shoe purchase or two. In my case a predictably high and majorly cool mule.
I’m already lining up a culotte chaser for mules next outing. And there’s a 99% chance of shirt making it to bed.
I suppose on paper these threads are somewhat humble, but with the promise of so many vestiary partnerships, I feel scrap that I know they’re a Don Draper quote away from pure alchemy.
