I’m that person that hit the chunky-knit jackpot twice. Both times spookily scored at the holy-pre-owned-fashion-grail Vestiaire Collective.
Yep, 3 zillion fashion years ago. I first clapped eyes on *chunky-knit score of the century.
She was an oversized, under-used Isabel Marant sweater in need of a good home. So when I spotted her teasing me on the Vestiaire Collective homepage I was like a rabid dog and bunged her in the basket before I’d even signed up to the site. So me.
She arrived a week later and we’ve never looked back. (this isn’t her)
Nope, today I’m rocking another VC find. Yep familiarly oversized, under-used, a sweater.
And with extra bonus credentials. She’s by Neemic, an independent label based in Beijing, with plenty of milky-hued mohair and cashmere candy satisfying those chunky-knit cravings forevermore.
Course I couldn’t say no.
Vestiaire Collective’s all a bit Alice in Wonderland like that. I love getting lost with the new-in’s, I’m an obsessive-compulsive wish-lister.
And while I’m busy saving for the croc Birkin and the Chloé Faye-for-less.
Here’s a few snippets of my most coveted, my Best of Vest: Couldn’t help it. Sorry. Not sorry.
