Currently attempting my best ‘Carrie Bradshaw hails for a cab’ impression
and trying desperately to hide the fact I’m floundering in the heat …Yep, impromptu bursts of air wafting through those bell sleeves are like sneezes from heaven.
Don’t get me wrong, the feverishness of New York fashion week is just the ticket after living in the great depression of British Summer 2015. But adjusting to my new humid hair/clammy self is taking a little time.
Bell sleeves have become an official staple for me this past year. Pairing up nicely with pretty much anything.
And as someone happy to be held ransom to this seasons burnt orange and burgundy palette, this piece by The Fifth Label is my flavour of the month. She brings bags of oversized versatility, ripe for tucking into a high-waisted skirt today, hopefully hanging her loose over skinnies and a cute boot for tonight.
I’m all about the non-crease, roll-em-up properties of my threads these days.
Off to Noho – my new hood crush – now to chow down on eggs with benefits at The Butchers Daughter. Don’t miss the action… I’m ‘grammin as I go.
