I have a secret. A not so sartorial one which goes by the name Mr. Wolfe. Purveyor of a mean flat white and enabler of my current Orange Blossom Pistachio Cake with Mascarpone Icing habit. I swear by this combo.

Were I not so excited about my OOTD, I’d be ushering you inside the joint and waxing lyrical about the entire menu. Peek at Breakfast by the Sea Brighton bible for all that.
But back to me my outfit.
And how I wear black and blue without being boring…
Cue season favourites: the pussy bow blouse, the playful skirt and sorry not sorry the sock boot.
On paper, these threads paired together read a little high-school musical. So here’s my 101 style rules which kick this into touch.
1. play up the silhouette with textures.
2. favour what flatters your figure. In my case; high-necked collars suit my petite chest, high-waisted mini’s make me look taller and sock-boots… well i’m convinced they make my calves look skinnier.
3. know the eye needs to be drawn to something. In this instance pussy-bow makes the statement, so I paired her with all black – accessories/skirt/the works – making her immediately centre stage. Voilà.
Bitter sweet this shoot tbh. Probably the last bare-legged one of the season. Maybe.
Happy Sunday
