Fine-tuning my autumnal uniform, I’ve come to realise that only a chunky knit will do.
Not a fine-knit cashmere pull… no no no, though that’s equally deserving of it-knit status. Nope this is the season to go chunkier, cosier, warmer.
I love the simplicity of throwing an oversized knit over skinny jeans. The jeans sort out the silhouette so the sweater can get down to business. The business of staying warm and still super chic.
If I’m honest, I find the neutral sweaters the easiest to pull off though I’m a magpie for all colour-ways come Christmas. But whilst my wardrobe shelves are moonlighting as an angora anthology, the one I’m wearing today I treasure the most. She’s a timeless classic this one, well above the average in terms of sleeve game, and in that gloriously milky hue as per my closet’s dietary requirements.
She’s an it-knit
An over achieving wing knit, no bobbling, shedding, shape-changing on my watch.
