{fashion week} You had me at Yellow

Aside from hearing that Lagerfeld, Wintour or Westwood want in on a collab, ask any fashion blogger what they wish for most during fashion week and I guarantee I know what it is.

You see, back when I began this blog. The pressure was more a self-induced anxiety born from wanting Mum and J to love my wordplay, wanting work colleagues to approve my pink fluffy sandals. But I never lost any sleep over it.

Things have most definitely changed.

Fashion week’s a frantic and caffeine fuelled affair for me. I relish the challenge of delivering on multiple projects, packing them all in in that fashion thirsty 5 days. And all the while maintaining my integrity and self-imposed restriction of no more than 4 instagram posts per day. First world problem.

SLEEP. Sleep is what I crave most. And lots of it.

So this week was a touch. An unexpected email from EVE – the sleep guru’s – who’d spotted what I was planting on the ‘gram and wanted in on the insta-restrictive action. Their aesthetic, much like mine is considered. I care about the way my blog and my instagram looks… nearly as much as I care about how I look. And the idea of uninterrupted blissful beauty sleep on a comfy new mattress every night… they had me at Yellow.

Yup. I’m in day 6 of mattress-monial bliss. Best bit, I’ve found my comfort zone – medium firm FYI.

Accented with the most sartorially relevant camisole I could find, here I’m sporting EVE’s signature golden yellow. Busy running errands about London with a fresh quick in my step. EVE, you and your golden hued goodness are talking my language… now when I’m not thinking about ‘does my bum look big in this’ I’m day-dreaming about my next deep and meaningful sleep.
